Your Gift

Caring people like you have positively impacted the lives of older adults for nearly four decades through our special funding programs.

We believe in the value of older adults. While we can, let’s listen to them, let’s learn from them and let’s care for them. We invite you to be a part of changing the lives of senior adults for the better with your gift of support.

Your gifts are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.

Ways You Can Support Older Adults

A Tribute Gift

A tribute gift is given in memory or in honor of someone special to you and blesses older adults with quality care. We will notify the recipient or recipient’s family of your thoughtful tribute.

Here are a few occasions when tribute gifts are appropriate:

  • In memory of someone passing
  • In honor of a birth
  • In honor of a retirement
  • In honor or in memory on a special day such as Mother’s Day or other holiday
  • In honor or in memory commemorating a special occasion or remembrance

A Monthly Recurring Gift

Your recurring monthly gift is easy to set up and makes giving affordable – yet, your gift will change the life of an older adult in tremendous ways! You are always in charge of stopping, pausing or adjusting the amount of your gift as needed.

You can choose to give any monthly amount. However, you may wish to consider giving a minimum of $25 each month to become a member of The Cuppa Compassion Coffee Club and enjoy special events and news updates as well as a welcome gift.

A Legacy Gift

You may wish to give a gift that does not change your income while you are living, but will make a life-changing difference to an older adult in nursing care for years to come. Legacy gifts are those mentioned in your will and they can be as simple as leaving a percentage or a particular amount after other commitments have been fulfilled.

A message from Kris Awtrey, CEO of Presbyterian Manor, Inc., regarding Coronavirus:

I would like to take a moment to give a brief update on the preparations that
Presbyterian Manor, Inc. is taking in regards to the Coronavirus (also known as COVID-19).

Presbyterian Manor and the House of Hope’s number one priority is the safety of our residents and staff.

COVID-19 has not been diagnosed at Presbyterian Manor or the House of Hope. However, for our residents' safety we are suspending all visitation in the Perkins-Prothro Healthcare Center and the House of Hope campus. We are also asking that guests only visit our independent living area if it is necessary for the health and/or well-being of the resident.

We are monitoring this situation closely and have already implemented steps to help prevent the spread in our community. We are in close contact with the Department of Health and Human Services and the CDC. If there should be any confirmed reports, we will implement even more stringent infection control procedures immediately.

Again, please be assured that Presbyterian Manor is doing everything possible to keep our residents safe. We ask that you remain vigilant regarding this matter and if you have any questions, please call me at any time. Thank you again for your understanding during this difficult and concerning time.
