![]() ![]() ![]() That church family was First Presbyterian Church and today the reality of that dream is Presbyterian Manor. All faiths are welcome. This unique community is the result of countless volunteer hours and is governed by an 18 member Board of Directors, local volunteers, most of whom are members of First Presbyterian Church, Wichita Falls, Texas. Presbyterian Manor is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization. We are a private pay facility. The Presbyterian Manor Independent Living Community consists of both private apartments and cottages. Adjoining but separate to the main building is the Perkins-Prothro Health Care Center providing short and long-term nursing care around-the-clock. Both facilities were opened to the public in 1980 and share a 12 ˝ acre campus. In 2007, a third facility was added to the organization at a nearby location. The Earle W. Crawford House of Hope serves those with Alzheimer’s and dementia and is the only dedicated Alzheimer’s facility in the region. Throughout its history of thirty years, Presbyterian Manor has stayed true to its original mission and purpose: to provide high quality care for seniors in the North Texas area.
